Nancy's Bio
Nancy Paik is an enthusiastic mother of two. She is a certified yoga instructor earning her 200 hr. level training through Swami Satchidananda’s Integral Yoga Institute in San Francisco in 2001. She has been practicing yoga for 18 years and teaching for nearly 9 years. Nancy dove deeply into her yoga practice to become a better mother and to help herself and others find a way back to their true nature of a peaceful mind, compassionate heart and joyful spirit. She has studied with Judith Lasater, Angela Farmer, Victor van Kooten, Paul Grilley and most recently with Ana Forrest. Her unique style is a divine offering of all the different techniques she has learned: blending the Yoga Sutras (Yoga Philosophy/Raja Yoga), postures (asanas), and breathwork (Pranayama) with love and humor. Her inner-focused class strongly emphasizes the importance of clear intention, physical alignment and the direction of breath to balance the energies of the mind, body and spirit so that one may feel a sense of wholeness and renewal. Her vision of the Postnatal class is to provide a supportive space where a new mother can reclaim her body and energy with love, clarity, strength and patience.
